The next edition of the ICC World T20 competition will take place in Bangladesh. The country will become the second Asian nation to host the event in successive editions, after Sri Lanka.
The competition is expected to be played out in across eight venues wit Sher-e-Bangla Stadium (Dhaka), Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (Chittagong) and Narayanganj Osmani Stadium (Narayanganj) hosting the bulk of the events.
Although the fixtures and participating teams have not yet been announced, reports have suggested that the International Cricket Council may decide on having 16 teams fight for the trophy in the 2014 edition.
The event will most probably take place in the first half of April and will span 20 over days.
