West Indies played spirited cricket in the 2012 edition of ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
The team - once giants of international cricket - needed to prove it could still challenge tough opponents. And they did, in style!
West Indies had defeated hosts Sri Lanka in the previous edition to lift their first ICC title in many years.
Local fans may have been disappointed watching their heroes fall. International cricket though celebrated new champions.
The celebrations were like no one had ever seen before with the entire West Indies team dancing and cheering like there was no tomorrow.
But there always is.
West Indies captain Darren Sammy has said that it will be a challenging task to defend their World Twenty20 title.
"It is a great feeling to be World Champions but that's all gone. When we get to Bangladesh, it's a fresh start and everyone's got do again what they did in Sri Lanka," he said.
Despite being the defending champions, most teams won't be considering their challenge too seriously - a mistake that could once again work to West Indies' advantage and help them claim the title again.
