Defending Champions Hyderabad Sultan beat Sher-e-Jalandhar in the tie breaker in a Premier Hockey League match. Both the teams were tied at 1-1 after the full time and the extra time. But the Sultans won with a 4-2 margin in the tie breaker. Didar Singh, Shakeel Abbassi, Sameer Dad and Jorge Lombi scored for Hyderabad Sultan's in the penalty shoot out while for a Sher-e-Jalandhar Ajmer Singh and Harpal Singh found the net. Earlier during regular time drag flicker Didar Singh put Hyderabad Sultan in to the lead in the first quarter of the game. However, Sher-e-Jalandhar brought the equaliser in third quarter.
