Maratha Warriors pipped Hyderabad Sultans via tie-breaker to notch two points in the Premier Hockey League on Sunday. With both teams scoring a goal each in regulation time, the match was pushed into extra-time which failed to yield a result pushing the match into the shootout. Vikram Pillay, Jorge Lombi and Johnson Ekka failed to score for the Sultans while Gurusevak Singh, Shivender Singh and Dhanajay Mahadik converted for the Warriors.
