City: Amandeep Johl of India finished joint third at the Macau Open Golf Tournament with Taiwan's Lu Wen-teh. American Jason Knutzon birdied the last two holes to win the $275,000 tournament by one stroke over Thailand's Thaworn Wiratchant after a thrilling final round. Johl, who had led from the outset, saw his challenge disappear after three-putting the par-four 10th hole to make a double bogey and was tied for third place on 14-under 270 with Lu. Johl had a 72 and Lu shot a 64. Knutzon, who began the final round three shots behind leader Johl, rose to the occasion on the back nine as he fired in four birdies to shoot a 4-under-par 67 and finished the tournament on 16-under 268. Thaworn carded a 65 to go 15-under 269 for the tournament. But his hopes of a play-off were dashed when Knutzon's approach shot from 117 yards fell close to the pin on the final hole. Tournament drawcard Padraig Harrington of Ireland finished in joint-fifth position after a 69 to total 13-under 271. (With AP inputs)
