Paris:SSP Chowrasia's nightmare continued as the Kolkata-golfer brought home a disappointing five-over 76 in the final round to finish tied 76th at the Open de France Alstom golf tournament here.
Chowrasia's card comprised three doubles bogeys, two bogeys against three birdies as he finished with a four-day tournament total of 11-over 295 at the Le Golf National here. Chowrasia was off the blocks with a birdie but it became a roller-coaster ride thereafter as he bogeyed the fourth, birdied the sixth before stumbling on a double bogey at the seventh to make the turn at one-over.
On resumption, he bogeyed the 10th, birdied the 11th before dropping two double bogeys at the 15th and the last hole to end on a disappointing note.
At the top, German Martin Kaymer fired a three under 68 to lift the title with an aggregate of 13-under 271, followed by Englishmen Lee Westwood (65) and Ian Poulter (67) at the second and third position respectively.
