London: Ferrari's Fernando Alonso is a man who is gunning for glory. He has a ten-point deficit to make up for and two races left in which to do so. He however is ready to battle to the chequered flag, literally.
Alonso is currently second in the drivers' championship table with Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel ahead of him. The Ferrari driver though managed to take the second place in the Abu Dhabi GP and showed he has what it takes to keep fans praying and rivals sweating hard.
While the 31-year-old admits that Red Bulls may have a faster car but adds that his is the better team. "Red Bull have the quicker car but we have the better team. Everyone fights with the weapons they have at their disposal. We will make sure we counter their performance," he was quoted as saying by The Sun in a report published on Thursday.
The next is the United States GP in Austin on November 18, followed by the final race of the calender - Brazilian GP.
