I-league: Yusa Katsumi, Sony Norde Strike as Mohun Bagan go Three Points Clear at Top

Defending champions Mohun Bagan rode on strikes from Yusa Katsumi and Sony Norde to beat Mumbai FC 2-0 as they went three points clear at the top of I-League here on Sunday. (Read more football stories here)
Having started on the bench, Katsumi scored in the 34th minute while Haitian winger Norde clinched the issue in the 62nd minute.
atsumi was brought down by Allan Dias down the right and Japanese took the free-kick. His shot was parried away but Norde finished it, making amneds for his earlier misses.
The goalpost came in the way of Bagan's third in the 75th minute after Norde stormed down the left wing before coming inside and setting Katsumi free.
The Japanese midfielder's angled shot towards the far corner beat Pawan but hit the post. Mohun Bagan have 25 points three points ahead of Bengaluru FC at the top of the table.
DSK Shivajians hammer Sporting Clube de Goa 3-1
DSK Shivajians crushed Sporting Clube de Goa 3-1 to register their biggest win in a 12th round encounter in Pune.
A first-half blitzkrieg from hosts DSK Shivajians saw them race to a three goal lead. Striker Aser Perrick Dipanda broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, before playmaker Douhou Pierre netted a brace (21st and 32nd minute) to give them a 3-0 lead. Defender Subhasish Bose (73rd) scored a consolation goal late in the second half for Sporting.
The win was DSK Shivajians' second-in-a-row and third of the season and helped them extend their unbeaten run to four games and move into seventh position.
In fact, the three points earned takes DSK Shivajians tally to 12 points, level with Mumbai FC (5th) and Salgaocar FC (6th), but behind on head-to-head.
