Brazilian Legend Zico Considers Running for FIFA Presidency
Zico who appeared in three World Cup finals for Brazil but never won it announced his intention to stand for the FIFA presidency on his Facebook page late Tuesday.

Brazilian football great Zico is considering standing for the FIFA presidency after the resignation of Sepp Blatter.
The 62-year-old who appeared in three World Cup finals for Brazil but never won it announced his intention on his Facebook page late Tuesday.
"Why not?" he said. "My life has always been in football. It's a passion that I have always treated seriously and with respect in Brazil and other countries."

"I think football comes before politics," he added. "I don't have support yet, but if it's open, I can become a candidate. It's still an idea. Who knows?"
Zico is currently coach to Indian club FC Goa. He was one of the world's best players of the late 1970s and early 1980s and was Brazil's sports minister in the 1990s.
