Rome:
Alessandro Del Piero's cross set up Trezeguet's first goal in the 29th minute. Iaquinta converted a penalty after getting pulled down in the area in the 71st, then deflected in a shot by Pavel Nedved in the 86th. Trezeguet was set up by Iaquinta in the 87th and scored again in the 90th as Livorno's defence collapsed.
"We showed we're back," Trezeguet said. "This was an important step, especially for our onfidence."
Massimo Loviso pulled one back for Livorno in the fourth minute of added time, beating Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon from long range.
Trezeguet, Del Piero and Nedved stayed with Juventus when it was relegated to Serie B last season as punishment for its involvement in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
Italy forward Iaquinta was signed from Udinese as part of Juve's massive overhaul in the transfer market.
Earlier, Lazio and Torino played to a 2-2 draw to open the Italian season with a game marked by multiple goals and severe heat.
Goran Pandev and Tommaso Rocchi scored for Lazio and Alessandro Rosina and Tommaso Vailatti netted for Torino as the temperature at Stadio Olimpico hovered near 40 C.

Settling down
After taking the first 25 minutes to settle down, Juventus started to threaten when Trezeguet slipped behind Livorno's defence in the 26th and received a pass from Pavel Nedved. Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia blocked Trezeguet's low shot by sticking out his boot as he went in the wrong direction.
In the 28th, Amelia stretched out to push aside a long shot by Giorgio Chiellini and Trezeguet scored a minute later, heading in a cross from Del Piero on a set play that began with a corner kick.
Cristiano Zanetti nearly made it 2-0 with a long shot that sailed a meter over the crossbar in the 35th and Del Piero sent a free kick to the high corner of the goal in the 39th that Amelia stopped with a leaping save.
Livorno pressed in the second half but the visitors' best chances were headers that went high by Fabio Galante in the 67th and Fausto Rossini in the 69th.
Just as Livorno started to assert itself, Nedved controlled the ball in the visitor's area and passed to Iaquinta, who was taken by Grandoni, earning the penalty.
Livorno appeared worn out as Juve went on to score three more goals in the final five minutes.
In Rome, Lazio controlled for the opening 15 minutes, attempting a series of long shots that were pushed away by Torino goalkeeper Matteo Sereni, who spent the last four seasons with Lazio.
Torino began to assert itself in the 19th with an angled shot by Simone Barone that went wide and a long attempt from Rosina didn't find the target in the 21st.
Loose defence
Lazio's defence was out of position in the 34th when Rosina's delicate chip shot from outside the area sailed over the head of Lazio goalkeeper Marco Ballotta to make it 1-0.
Lazio signed highly touted Argentine goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo to replace the retired Angelo Peruzzi but Carrizo has had problems gaining European Union citizenship, leaving the starting job for now to Ballotta.
Lazio began the second half with a burst of energy and Pandev had a goal annulled for offside in the 53rd before equalising three minutes later.
After Rocchi carried the ball into the area, a cross from Gaby Mudingayi was deflected out to Pandev and the Macedonia striker converted from the centre of the area.
In the 61st, Rocchi received a pass inside the penalty arc, turned and shot past Sereni to put Lazio up 2-1.
Vailatti equalised for Torino in the 68th, nine minutes after coming on for his Serie A debut. The 21-year-old midfielder headed in a cross from Barone.
Torino ended with 10 men after Gianluca Comotto picked up his second yellow card in the 84th.
Torino midfielder Vince Grella was taken to a local hospital for tests after banging heads with Lazio's Del Nero while going up for a high ball a few seconds after kickoff.
Toward the end of the first half, Lazio defender Mobido Diakhite was taken off with a broken leg. Another Lazio defender, Aleksandar Kolarov, also suffered a leg injury.
Lazio was already without injured defender Sebastiano Siviglia and could be in trouble for the return leg against Dinamo Bucharest in Champions League qualifying on Tuesday.
