Porto:Greece are almost through to the quarter-finals of Euro 2004 after holding fancied Spain to a 1-1 draw in their second game. Spain scored first through with a clinically-taken Fernando Morientes strike in the 28th minute. But then Greece equalised in the second half through Angelos Charisteas. That results put Greece on top of Group A. They had earlier caused the biggest upset of the tournament beating hosts Portugal in the first round. Greece made one alteration from the side that upset Portugal 2-1, with Konstantinos Katsouranis replacing Angelis Basinas in midfield. There was no room for fit-again Themistoklis Nikolaidis, as Zisis Vryzas and Charisteas kept their places in attack.
