Algiers: Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic said he was satisfied with the 15-match ban given to Cameroon skipper Samuel Eto'o after a players strike caused the cancellation of a friendly between the two countries.
"I am satisfied by the decision of the Cameroon federation (FECAFOOT). What happened was really scandalous on the part of a great African football nation," Halilhodzic told Radio Algeria.
Cameroon had beaten Sudan and drawn with hosts Morocco in a four-nation tournament in Marrakech and were due to wrap up a hectic friendlies schedule against Algeria on November 15.
But Eto'o and his team-mates claimed they were not paid money due to them by FECAFOOT and the fixture had to be scrapped, with Algeria claiming $1 million compensation for lost revenue.
