Rome:
Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti plans to take a season-long sabbatical before he coaches again.
Ancelotti tells Turin daily La Stampa that he wants to take a year to "look around" and "study how colleagues work."
Ancelotti was fired last month after his second season at Stamford Bridge ended without a trophy.
The Italian has been linked to various openings in England and Italy, notably Roma, but he says he hasn't been contacted by any English clubs nor Roma, although he still maintains he will coach Roma eventually.
Ancelotti is a former Roma and AC Milan player and coached Milan to two Champions League trophies before moving to Chelsea.
