Riga: Latvia and Estonia have asked FIFA to investigate two friendlies for possible match-fixing and fraud involving referees' identity.
All seven goals in the two matches on Feb. 9 in Antalya, Turkey, were scored on penalties, with Latvia beating Bolivia 2-1 and Estonia and Bulgaria ending in a 2-2 draw.
Estonian Football Association spokesman Mihkel Uiboleht says that the Estonians had suspicions of possible match-fixing as much as two weeks before the game, but he declined to give details.
He says the association has sent information to both FIFA and UEFA.
The Latvian Football Federation says it still does know the identities of the referees for its game despite numerous written and verbal requests.
