The World Cup may be over but Zinedine Zidane is still in the news. On Wednesday, Zidane apologised for his behaviour during the final and later, FIFA said they would reconsider his Golden Ball award. Football's governing body has now announced disciplinary proceedings against Marco Materazzi for his role in the now infamous head butting incident. Both Zidane and Materazzi have been summoned to a disciplinary committee hearing on July 20 in Zurich with a decision expected later that day. Zidane is required to make a written statement, and Materazzi will then be required to respond to it. Meanwhile, as France faces a case of summer blues over its World Cup defeat, Zidane's head-butt on Materazzi is already the subject of a song that aims to be a holiday hit. The song is on its way to becoming a huge hit, having been posted on the Web, with French radio SkyRock putting it on its play-list and record labels and ringtone sellers fighting for its rights.
