London:
Arsenal clash with Juventus Arsenal will take on Juventus in the second phase of the Champions League matches. The clash will bring together Davide Trezeguet with his French international teammate Thierry Henry. Trezeguet is the top scorer in the Champions League so far and Henry's Arsenal are unbeaten in 15 European games at home so far. Arsenal scored a comfortable 2-0 win against Ipswich Town over the weekend. But the gunners haven't produced their best form in the Champions League this season. Their away form has been dismal, with not even a single win on the road. Arsenal are to host the Italian giants Juventus in a crucial match and will be more at ease playing in front of their home crowd. They must try and win to keep them in the reckoning for a place in the quarterfinals. Juventus on the other hand seem to be on a roll. They hammered Bayer Leverkusen in the fog-delayed match 4-0 and then went on to win their Serie A match also over the weekend. They will be hoping to improve on their away form. Real Madrid to take on Panathinaikos Real Madrid continued their brilliant form in the Champions League on match day seven with an away win against Sparta Prague. They have a chance to continue that when they face Greek side Panathinaikos on Tuesday night. The Spanish giants also have history on their side as they have never lost to Greek opposition. For Panathinaikos it won't be easy, since they have never won a match in Spain. Deportivo La Coruna versus Bayer Leverkusen Deportivo La Coruna, one of the undefeated teams in the Champions League, looked impressive in their 2-0 win over Arsenal on match day seven. But match day 8 seems to be unlucky for them. The Spanish side had lost their unbeaten status at the same stage in the Champions League last season. They also lost the top spot in the Spanish League after a 1-0 loss to Espanyol this weekend. Deportivo's poor stint seems to have started after their win against Arsenal. They were thrashed 4-1 by Mallorca last weekend. But Bayer Leverkusen also haven't been in great form. They lost their last Champions League match to Juventus 4-0.Topics mentioned in this article
