Oporto:Porto drew 0-0 with Juventus in a lackluster Champions League Group E tie, which saw both sides playing safe in midfield. Italian side Juventus travelled to Portugal looking for their first away win of the competition. Porto playing host to Juventus dominated the match from early on. Captain Nuno Capucho was there with a chance after just five minutes, but the Portuguese international's shot went wide. Porto seemed to be creating all the chances, with the Juventus defence no where to be seen. In the 17th minute Brazilian striker Pena wriggled free in front of goal but fired his point blank shot directly at the goal keeper. Porto then resorted to long-range efforts. Brazilian midfielder Deco took a shot after 35 minutes, but Buffon pulled off another good diving save, as the teams went into half time goal-less. Second half and the tides had turned as Juventus were the ones doing all the attacking. The Italian side nearly scored early in the second half, but the Porto keeper pulling off a save off the line. Alessandro del Piero had a chance with a free kick, but he didn't even manage finding the goalkeeper, as the shot went wide. Substitute Hedler Postiga had a golden chance, but his low shot also went wide. However replays showed that Buffon had actually got his fingertips to the ball to pull off another good save. The goal-less draw leaves Juventus on 5 points and in second place behind group leaders Glasgow Celtic. Porto are third with 4 points.
