# Jonathan Trott is the first England batsman to manage 1300 runs or more in a calendar year - 1310 at an average of 54.58 in 28 ODIs.

# Trott's ODI record against India is quite impressive -466 (ave.58.25) in 9 matches, including four fifties, with a highest of 98 not out at Mohali on October 20, 2011.

# Trott has managed 197 runs at an average of 65.66 in four games, including one fifty - the most by an English player in the present series.

# Suresh Raina (80 off 62 balls) has posted his third innings of 80 or more against England in ODIs.

# Raina has recorded his seventh fifty against England - his 19th in ODIs.

# Raina is averaging fifty-plus in a winning cause - 2026 runs at an average of 51.94 in 75 matches - his tally includes two centuries and 16 fifties.

# Raina, thanks to his excellent knock, is averaging 40.11 against England - 682 in 21 matches, including seven fifties.
