Marshall Ayub is a Dhaka born all-rounder with terrific skills in both the departments. The right-handed batsman and leg spinner played his debut season for Barisal Division in 2005 and picked up five wickets in his first match.
Marshall's impressive performance enabled him a place in the Bangladesh national squad for the Under-19 World Cup in 2008, where he scored 412 runs and claimed two wickets. In January 2013, Ayub along with Mehrab Hossain Jr. recorded the highest partnership in Bangladesh's first-class cricket, worth 494 runs, where he top scored with 289. With such a show of skill and talent, he was picked up for the national Test squad for the tour of Sri Lanka a couple of months later.
