Thomas Michael Beaton Profile

Originating from Western Australia, Tom Beaton made his mark when he captained the Australian Under-19 squad in a Test match against India and played a match-winning knock of 109, being named Man of the Match. He was also part of the Under-19 squad that won the 2010 World Cup.

Following an impressive World Cup, Beaton was awarded a rookie contract by Western Australia. In his maiden outing, he broke the record for the highest score on debut, scoring 71 and along with skipper Adam Voges, put together a record 5th wicket partnership for Western Australia. In 2012, he was signed by the Perth Scorchers ahead of the Champions League T20.
