Tendulkar had signed a sports management deal with World Tel in 1995, the value of the deal being 30 crore rupees over 5 years. He renewed his contract in 2001 for 80 crores over 5 years. In 2006, Saatchi and Saatchi's ICONIX signed him for 180 crores till 2009.
He was long associated with products like Pepsi, Reynolds, Boost (energy drink), Airtel, Britannia, Sunfeast, NECC, Colgate, Adidas, TVS bikes, MRF, VISA, etc.
After his collaboration with Saatchi and Saatchi, he endorsed many new products and disassociated himself from others. Pepsi was one such product that didn't renew contract with him and put an end to their long association.
Sachin too has moved on and now adds value to a range of products and other companies like Aviva Life Insurance, Canon digital Camera, Boost, MRF, NECC. Recently, the Royal Bank of Scotland appointed him as their brand ambassador in Asia-Pacific region.
