Sachin Tendulkar added another feather in his cap when he received the Order Of Australia. Australian Minister Simon Crean conferred the Order of Australia on Sachin Tendulkar at a ceremony in Mumbai.

Sachin Tendulkar stated how honoured he was to to receive this award in recognition of his contribution to the game of cricket.
He went on to narrate some of his favourite experiences Down Under going as far back as the 1992 World Cup and his love for the Australian sporting public.
Tendulkar highlighted how tough it was to play against the Aussies and the ovation he got from the crowds back in 2007 and was amazed that he was able to play there again four years later. He hoped to visit the country as a tourist later if not as a cricketer as it held a special place in his heart.
