New Delhi: Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday announced rewards for each member of the Indian team that participated in the historic Test series victory in New Zealand since 1968. Rain forced the third and final Test at the Basin Reserve to end in a draw on Tuesday that led India's 1-0 win over Kiwis.
Mr. Shashank Manohar, President of the BCCI, extended his congratulations to the Indian team, for its outstanding display in New Zealand.
The Board President has announced a bonus of Rs.15 lakhs to every player who participated in the Test and One-Day series while, the Support-Staff will receive a bonus of Rs.10 lakhs each.
The '3-1' win in the One-Day series was India's first in the shorter version of the sport in that country.
