New Delhi:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has named former all-rounder Salim Durani for the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
In a statement released on Friday, the charismatic all-rounder who was one of the chief architects of India’s first Test series triumph over England in 1961-62 will be presented with a trophy and a cheque of Rupees 15 lakhs.
Durani will now join other eminent cricketers who have previously been named for this prestigious award including Lala Amarnath, Syed Mushtaq Ali, P. R. Umrigar and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
