New Delhi: The India-England ODI scheduled for Guwahati has been shifted to Mohali, according to sources close to NDTV. The decision to shift the venue came in because of the serial blasts last week in Guwahati. India and England were supposed to play in the city on November 29th.
Sources reveal that England was unhappy with Guwahati as a venue given the security situation.
Team England arrived on Thursday in Mumbai to play seven ODIs and two Tests in India starting from November 14.
For the first time in the history of ODIs, two double centurions - Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag - have opened an innings.
