Durban:Indian Premier League commissioner Lalit Modi on Thursday scotched rumours that Tuesday's match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders was fixed.
"No problem till now. There are absolutely no issues. We are absolutely following strict guidelines," Modi said.
In that match, the Knight Riders dropped its in-form Australian import Brad Hodge who was subsequently seen in the hospitality area, instead of the players dug out.
Modi, however, did not see anything wrong with that.
"I am happy that Brad (Hodge) went and sat along with his family in the box," he told a TV channel.
In that tie, Knight Riders skipper Brendon McCullum led from the front to guide the side to their tournament-best score of 172 which they could not defend as their opponents from Bangalore went on to win it by six wickets.
