New Delhi:
After the initial problems with visa related issue, Asif was allowed to enter the city but his whereabouts remains a tightly guarded secret.
The officials of the Delhi Daredevils, the team for which he played in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League, were unwilling to give out any details about where he is putting up although they confirmed that Asif would be meeting top officials on Sunday to sort out his payment issues.
The meeting is scheduled for the evening but no time or venue has been disclosed to the media.
"The meeting is scheduled in the evening," the Delhi Daredevils CEO Amrit Mathur said.
The Delhi Daredevils are wary that the media could turn up at the meeting and shift the focus on what is essentially a personal meeting which Asif had sought.
It is believed that Asif has come to Delhi with his manager and one of his associates but it could not be confirmed.
Since it is a personal visit, no official had any information about his proposed trip which was originally scheduled for Friday but was put off without the dope-tainted bowler giving any specific reason.
Though there is no official word of his departure, it is learnt that he will return on Monday and come back to India for the IPL disciplinary hearing scheduled in Mumbai on January 24.
