Cuttack:Star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on Wednesday made it clear that India are not interested in playing good hosts to their battered English opponents and in fact, they are eyeing a 7-0 whitewash in the ongoing one-day series.
"We are here to play cricket and not to play a good hosts," the belligerent off-spinner told reporters after India thumped England by six wickets to take a 5-0 lead in the seven-match series.
Ruling out the possibility of any dip in the intensity level in the last two matches, Harbhajan said, "We look to play the same kind of cricket and it will be nice to see the series with a 7-0 result.
"You cannot predict results, but we are looking to do well, taking one game at a time. And with the way we are playing at the moment we can beat them 7-0," he added.
According to him, the team is playing an aggressive brand of cricket right since the Test series against Australia and Harbhajan felt India's current form was sending shivers down the opponents' spine.
"This is how we play our cricket. We go there to enjoy the game, we don't fear...probably other teams are getting scared of us," he said.
"We have been playing some very, very good cricket. Not just in this series but the kind of cricket we played against Australia was fantastic. We showed that we mean business.
"We look to do well when go out to the ground. Everybody is confident, backing each other well and we all know that anybody in the team can win a game for India. That's the kind of confidence we have in each other," Harbhajan said.
The spinner heaped praise on his captain and said Mahendra Singh Dhoni has lot more to offer in the next decade.
"He is a very very cool customer. He always gives you freedom. As a bowler, he always backs you, whatever be the situation. He always supported all the guys. He is doing a great job and has lot to do in the coming 10 years," Harbhajan said.
On today's match, Harbhajan said it was a complete team effort where bowlers and batsmen contributed in equal measures.
"We batted really well. Throughout out the series, we have been batting well. Viru, Sachin set up the game for us. We knew that 270 is the kind of score they cannot defend. It's not the kind of score they can defend where you have dew factor to play later on.
"We thought they will get a three-hundred plus runs. But Zaheer (Khan) and Ishant (Sharma) once again bowled well in the third Powerplay. I think in last 10 overs, they got 70-odd runs with six wickets in hand," Harbhajan said.
