Brisbane:India A defeated South Africa A by 12 runs in a Twenty20 match of the quadrangular Emerging Players tournament at Redlands Cricket Club here on Monday.

Badrinath (37) and Jadeja (20) then joined forces to forge a 50-run partnership that stabilised the Indian innings and took them out of a precarious situation of 32/5.
In reply, South Africans began well with their openers piling 36 runs. But leg-spinner Amit Mishra turned the match in India's favour by scalping three wickets.
He finished with figures of 3/11 from his four overs. Misha was ably backed by Manpreet Gony (1/13), Dhaval Kulkarni (1/16) and Jadeja (1/17) to sent South Africa spiralling from 36/0 to 75 all out.
