Mumbai:
"Sometimes calls are not heard in the din of the crowd. However, it is all part and parcel of the game and it is something we would need to look at closely before our next game," the champion batsman said after his side lost by one run to the Punjab Kings XI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Five Mumbai batsmen were run out chasing a target of 190 runs.
Tendulkar, however, refused to comment on some contentious decisions of the third umpire, saying it was up to the team's management to take up the issue if they wanted to.
Tendulkar, who was run-out himself, said that his dismissal had come at a fairly crucial juncture of the game.
"When I got out we were cruising comfortably. I thought if we hadn't lost my wicket at that stage we could have won with five balls to spare," he said.
"If two run-outs had been averted then we would have had two more runs which would have meant us winning the match," Tendulkar said.
The batsman, who top-scored for the team with 65 runs, said he was happy to be among runs in the tournament after notching up low scores in the three previous games.
"The flow is coming slowly. After a break of about two months to come back and perform is not easy," he said. Shaun Pollock was unable to complete his quota of four overs after a splendid three over first spell as the South African all-rounder had begun to feel some stiffness in his back, according to Tendulkar.
"He had some back stiffness. We had planned to bring him on earlier but due to this we did not bowl him," he said.
Pollock had missed the last game due to a stiff back and had been declared fit ahead of Wednesday's match.
The Mumbai captain also praised the efforts like spinners Siddharth Chitnis, Vikrant Yeligati and Abhishek Nayar for their contributions to the game.
Coach Lalchand Rajput said the decision to include Chitnis and Yeligati in the game was in keeping with the team's policy to experiment with youngsters and they had felt the wicket would have something in it for the spinners.
And while Punjab skipper Yuvraj Singh criticised the Wankhede crowd for their behaviour, Tendulkar praised the spectators for their support for him.
"The crowd here treats me well and am thankful to them for it. I hope their support remains with me for the games ahead," he said.
