Navi Mumbai:
"I thought with the wicket being a bit up and down a total of 140 would have been good to defend. But it was not to be. It was a disappointing wicket considering that such a big crowd had come to watch, but that's not an excuse for our poor batting," Warne said after his team suffered only its second loss in seven matches.
"With a score of over a hundred in hand, we needed three or four early wickets which we did not get though Sohail (Tanvir) and Munaf (Patel) bowled well. But we are still topping the table and are in pretty good shape. I feel if we can win eight games we should be through to the semis," the spin legend said.
Warne felt that the young batsmen in the team panicked a bit with the loss of some early wickets.
"Maybe there was a bit of a panic in the young players when we lost some early wickets. We also played some pretty silly shots and got out," he added.
Warne also felt that the team might have to rotate some of its players and bring in people like Kamran Akmal and Dimitri Mascarenhas with three games coming up in five days.
"We have to rotate the players and bring in fresh legs into the side, give Akmal another chance and Mascarenhas too," he said.
