Bhajji's clashes with cricket's code of conduct

1997-1998 vs Australia, ODI at Sharjah

(Breach of Code 5 -Offensive gesture & abuse of dismissed batsman Ponting). Fined 50% of match fee, with one-match suspended ban for 40 days, by match referee Talat Ali. Any further breach of the code will incur an automatic ODI ban, until May 31, 1998

2001-2002 vs South Africa, 2nd Test at Port Elizabeth

(Breach of Codes 3 & 4) Dissent at umpire's decision and attempt to intimidate him. Fined 75% of match fee, with ban for one Test suspended sentence for ten weeks by Mike Denness. (Similar fine imposed on SS Das, D Dasgupta and Virender Sehwag)

2002-2003 vs South Africa, ODI at Dhaka

(Breach of Code 2.9. Foul & abusive language to the umpire. Fined 50% of match fee by Clive Lloyd

2004-2005 vs South Africa at Hyderabad

(Level 1 Breach of code 1.5 Gesturing aggressively towards pavilion on batsman's dismissal) Fined 25% of match fee by Jeff Crowe).

2007-2008 vs Australia at Sydney

(For allegedly calling Andrew Symonds a monkey during the Test match. Is cleared of racial charges (Level 3 breach of code 3.3) on appeal is instead charged with a Level 2.8 offence (for using obscene language). Fined 50 per cent of match fees by referee Mike Procter.
