Hyderabad Heroes beat Ahmedabad Rockets in ICL
Hyderabad Heroes romped to their third consecutive victory after beating Ahmedabad Rockets by 52 runs in the Edelweiss Twenty20 challenge of the ICL.

The Heroes put up 175 for four wickets before bowling out the Rockets out for just 127 runs.
Put in to bat, the Heroes opened their innings with a new combination of Jimmy Maher (84) and Shashank Nag. Maher was going great guns bringing up his second consecutive fifty off only 26 balls. The Heroes were comfortably placed at 91 for one with both Maher and Ambati Rayudu looking in ominous touch.
Rayudu blasted 65 off only 36 balls. His entertaining innings included six fours and four sixes.
Alfred Absolem who took seven wickets for just 15 runs single-handedly ripped through the Rockets batting line-up. Rockets were struggling at 67 for three and then got reduced to 93 for five.
Absolem was too hot too handle for the Rockets who were finally folded up for 127.
Brief scores: Hyderabad Heroes 175/4 (Jimmy Maher 84, Ambati Rayudu 65, Heath Streak 1/26). Ahmedabad Rockets 127 all out (Pervez Aziz 35, Sreedharan Sriram 36, Alfred Absolem 7/15). Hyderabad Heroes won by 52 runs.
