A grand reception and a cash reward of Rs 10 crore await the Indian team that won the CB Series beating Australia on Tuesday.

The ceremony will be accorded to the Indian team in New Delhi on March 6 to celebrate their first-ever tri-series win in Australia, BCCI President Sharad Pawar said.

The BCCI chief administrative officer, Ratnakar Shetty said in Brisbane that Pawar had also announced the cash reward which would be handed to them on March 6.

The team will arrive in Mumbai and will later be flown to New Delhi, Pawar had told reporters during an informal interaction, while describing the win on Australian soil as a "fitting reply".

Lauding the team spirit of the Indian players, he said despite the fact that ace batsman Sachin Tendulkar has been hit with a ball, there had been no complaints from his side. The team had displayed great sportsman spirit, he said.
