SYDNEY:
All matches will be played at the city's Marrara Stadium.
The announcement followed the Northern Territory government's commitment to a five-year deal to develop cricket in the territory.
"Cricket Australia is committed to promoting Darwin on the international stage and also as an ideal training base for development squads in the off-season," CA chief executive James Sutherland said.
"The location and (dry season) climate are ideal for matches during the Australian winter when playing cricket in the southern states is simply not considered."
The first match will be played on August 31, followed by others on September 3 and 6.
