Nagpur:The famed Indian batting line up's dismal show in the series so far has been the reason for their blues and nothing less than a solid batting performance will save the team from the ignominy of a series defeat.
"Our strength is batting, we have no choice but to fire tomorrow. We have put ourselves under pressure; we have just played really badly," said Yuvraj Singh, Vice-Captain, Indian Cricket Team.
Rahul Dravid may have stepped down from captaincy to concentrate on his batting but runs now seemed to have dried up from his bat.
Just 44 runs to his name in the series so far may not be a case to drop him but the journey back from a Captain to a commoner has not been easy.
Despite all the criticisms surrounding the big three three, Dhoni is convinced that they are indispensable.
"Rahul, Sachin, Sourav is the best batting combination," said M S Dhoni, Captain, Indian Cricket Team.
Meanwhile, Ricky Ponting is looking for one last push at the Vidharba cricket ground to seal the series.
He may have watched from the sidelines the last time his team were triumphant at the VCA but he has no intentions of missing out this time.
Even the unlikely unavailability of Matthew Hayden is not going to come in the way.
"If the match in Baroda was a semi, this is a final," said Ricky Ponting, Captain, Australian Cricket Team.
The last time India played against the West Indies here, they posted a total of 300 plus, perhaps they will try to do so to stop Australia from sealing the series just yet.
