Yasir Hameed was the top scorer for Pakistan with 41 runs, with Imran Farhat remaining unbeaten on 38. Disastrous start Earlier Afridi bulldozed through the Kenyan batting line-up, while Shoaib Malik picked up three and Naved-ul-Hassan one. The Africans got off to a disastrous start as they lost the wicket of opener Ravindu Shah in the second over of the match. He was caught by Shahid Afirdi off Naved-ul-Hasan for 0. Kennedy Otieno (33) and Maurice Ouma (23) tried to salvage the innings but could not face up to the Pakistani bowlers. Captain Steve Tikolo also lost out for a duck, who was soon followed by Thomas Odoyo in a similar fashion. Brijal Patel and Rajeb Aga also got out soon after leaving the Kenyans reeling under pressure. Malhar Patel and Martin Suji also got out cheaply, both for ducks. Patel was bowled by Afridi while Suji was run out by Yasir Hameed. Match rescheduled The match, originally scheduled for Tuesday, had been postponed for today. Overnight rain left the outfield at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground wet and forced umpires Darrel Hair and Billy Doctrove to call off play well before the scheduled start on Tuesday. India, Pakistan and Kenya are placed together in Group C. India had defeated Kenya by 98 runs in Southampton on Saturday.
