Kolkata : India will undertake a tour of Bangladesh in December during which they will play both Test matches and one-dayers. India was originally scheduled to visit Bangladesh in April this year after the conclusion of the team's engagements in Pakistan. However, the tour was called off as the Pakistan itinerary continued as late as April 17. The cricket boards of the two countries have decided that the tour, will finally take place in December this year. Although a final itinerary has not been drawn up the Bangladesh Cricket Board President Asghar Ali said that the Indian team would play two Test matches and three one-dayers during the tour. Hectic times The Bangladesh tour comes as the last lap of a grueling schedule for the Indian team in the coming months. Beginning with the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, followed by a Triangular series involving Australia and Pakistan at Amstelveen in Netherlands from August. The team will then move to England, where they play three one-dayers and the Champions Trophy before hosting Australia and South Africa in October and November respectively. (PTI)
