Time heals all wounds. And it seems to have done wonders to ease Elizabeth Hurley's pains after her split from Australian cricket legend Shane Warne. Hurley, in an interview to Hello Magazine, revealed for the first time that parting ways with Warne had left her sad but that she has managed to find her way out of the despair and move on.

"We finally parted ways in November (2013) and it was a very sad time for both of us," Hurley was quoted as saying. "I struggled for a while but feel in a very good place today. In fact, both professionally and personally everything is blooming." (Warne Confirms Split with Hurley)

The British actress was engaged to Warne but their electric chemistry came to a shocking end towards the end of last year. What began as a rumour was soon confirmed by both the British actress as well as the former spin legend - the two were 'officially' over!

The 48-year-old mother of one, however, says that she will always have a special bond with her 44-year-old former partner. "Love isn't a switch that you can turn on or off at will and of course I still love him -- we are part of each other's history," she said.

The "history" though was not always laced with beautiful tales of romanticism. Hurley and Warne shared a rather public relationship and when reports of trouble began brewing, unconfirmed speculations began boiling even quicker. From the fact that Warne had refused to set a date for their wedding to the return of his ex-wife in his life, conjectures were drawn with increasing frequency.

For Hurley though, all of that is in the past and she hopes to keep the joyous memories intact. "We've been putting together Mac photobooks of some of the great holidays we all spent together and have very happy memories," she said.

Hurley though is not just focusing on preserving her memories with Warne but is also looking forward to newer ones. Currently dating hedge fund-tycoon-turned wildlife-photographer David Yarrow, she seems to have already ditched the cricket ball for the camera, bringing an end to her three-year long innings and starting on another with a more solid guard.
