19:40 (IST): Mumbai Indians beat Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets in thrilling finish. It is their first win in IPL 7.

19:38 (IST): FOUR! It goes through as Johnson tries a yorker to Pollard & another one follows! MI need 5 runs off the final over. Mitchell Johnson went for 20.

19:32 (IST): SIX! Tare and Pollard look good as of now. MI still need 25 runs off 12 balls to beat KXIP though.

19:25 (IST): OUT! Corey Anderson c Miller b Rishi Dhawan 35. MI 126/5 (16.4 overs). Mumbai Indians need 43 off 20 balls now. Big ask!

19:15 (IST): WICKET! Rohit Sharma (39) brings up 50 partnership with Corey Anderson through a boundary four but falls on the next ball to Balaji! Wicketkeeper Saha takes a simple catch as the ball is miscued into the air! MI 123/4 (15.3 overs). Preity Zinta must be happy!

19:11 (IST): 5 overs left in the match & Mumbai Indians need 51 to win off 30 balls. Just 3 runs off Mitchell Johnson's over.

18:59 (IST): Corey Anderson gets a four, a six and two fours off Akshar Patel to increase MI's winning chances. 20 off his over. MI 109/3 (13 overs). Need 60 off 42 to win.

18:56 (IST): Rohit Sharma (36*) is key to MI's chase of 169 here and now he has Corey Anderson (3*) with him too. MI 89/3(12 overs). Some big ones have been hit by skipper Rohit in his innings so far.

18:47 (IST): OUT! CM Gautam lbw b Rishi Dhawan 33. MI 70/3 (9.4 overs) chasing 169 vs KXIP. There is no such thing as a commentator's curse, I tell you. Just look at the cheerleaders, they seem over the moon!

18:37 (IST): Rishi Dhawan is coming in to bowl at the team he was playing for last season. MI 61/2 (7 overs). Rohit Sharma (17*), CM Gautam (28*).

18:26 (IST): It almost seems as if CM Gautam is Rohit Sharma and vice-versa with the way sixes are being hit by the relatively inexperienced lad. MI 45/2 (5.3 overs).

18:21 (IST): Sandeep slows things down again after Rohit got a six off Johnson's last over. Oh wait, did we just say slows down? CM Gautam responds to that with two big sixes! MI 42/2 (5 overs).

18:10 (IST): OUT! Ambati Rayudu lbw b Sandeep Sharma 8. MI 23/2 (2.5 overs). The score remains the same after the last ball of the third over as Mitchell Johnson comes in to bowl now.

18:05 (IST): Ambati Rayudu goes down the ground for a punishing four off Balaji! The last delivery was a good one but it caught Rayudu's edge and went for four again! MI 17/1 (2 overs).

17:59 (IST): OUT! Ben Dunk c Saha b Sandeep Sharma 5. MI 6/1 (0.5 overs) chasing 169 vs KXIP. Not a great start for the Mumbai Indians.

17:41 (IST): Wriddhiman Saha, Glenn Maxwell guide Kings XI Punjab to 168/5 (20 overs) against Mumbai Indians.

17:39 (IST): OUT! David Miller c Dunk b Malinga 16. KXIP 165/5 (19.2 overs). Ben Dunk takes another screamer!

17:30 (IST): Meanwhile, Saha gets to his third IPL fifty with a six! KXIP now 156/4 (18.3 overs). Zaheer looks to be in some sort of trouble with his body. In fact, he has strained his shoulder and Pollard will finish the rest of his over.

17:28 (IST): Can KXIP get to 170-plus from hereon? They are 145/4 (18 overs) vs Mumbai Indians with Miller & Saha.

17:19 (IST): OUT! Bailey c Corey Anderson b Harbhajan 15. KXIP 130/4 (15.5 overs). Harbhajan Singh takes another crucial wicket after removing Glenn Maxwell earlier!

17:11 (IST): Kieron Pollard taken for 16 in his over! Wriddhiman Saha gets a couple of fours and a six! KXIP 117/3 (14 overs).

17:03 (IST): 100 comes up for Kings XI Punjab as Bailey takes a single! KXIP 101/3 (13 overs). Saha is with him on the other end. Strategic timeout!

16:59 (IST): OUT! Maxwell c Dunk b Harbhajan 45. KXIP 93/3 (11.5 overs) vs Mumbai Indians. The dangerman is gone!

16:51 (IST): At halfway stage, Kings XI Punjab are 70/2 (10 overs) vs Mumbai Indians. Maxwell (33*), Saha (11*).

16:44 (IST): Malinga to Glenn Maxwell! SIX! And the next one goes through the keeper for 4! KXIP 61/2 (8.2 overs). Maxwell is getting into his groove, slowly but surely.

16:36 (IST): Jasprit Bumrah bowls a front-foot no-ball and Maxwell gets the free hit! And 4! KXIP 41/2 (6.1 overs).

16:28 (IST): Lasith Malinga into the attack and Glenn Maxwell happy to take a single! KXIP 32/2 (5.1 overs).

16:20 (IST): OUT! Pujara c CM Gautam b Corey Anderson 19. KXIP 24/2 (3.3 overs) vs Mumbai Indians. Pujara was walking as soon as the bowler made an appeal, he knew he had nicked that one on the way to the keeper. He got some nice cover drive fours during his short stay at the crease though. Glenn Maxwell comes out to bat now.

16:13 (IST): OUT! Sehwag run out Rohit Sharma 1. KXIP 13/1 (2.1 overs). That was a brilliant direct hit from the Mumbai Indians captain to get rid of Sehwag, who was nowhere near the crease.

16:05 (IST): Kings XI Punjab get 5 runs off Zaheer Khan's first over. KXIP 5/0 (1 over) vs Mumbai Indians. Cheteshwar Pujara, who got a boundary on the second ball, looks in great touch.

Live Cricket Score: Glenn Maxwell and Preity Zinta

Holders Mumbai Indians would be keen to end their dismal five-match losing streak but the task is easier said than done as they will clash against table-toppers Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai today. With the IPL action shifting to India after the initial phase was held in the UAE, MI would be eager to turn around their floundering fortunes after suffering five straight defeats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

It has been Mumbai's batting, more than their bowling, which has caused their slump thus far in the tournament. MI have tried out a few opening combinations and failed miserably with captain Rohit Sharma, his Mumbai Ranji Trophy teammate Aditya Tare, former Australia cricketer Mike Hussey and new signing Ben Dunk, also an Aussie, all failing to get going.

Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, would be equally earnest to ensure that their five-match winning streak in the UAE is not snapped by last year's champions. Punjab have batted, bowled and fielded extremely well in the first phase of the T20 League and another victory at the cost of the struggling MI would enhance their top-four chances which are already bright. Live Cricket Score: Sachin Tendulkar'Is Presence of Sachin, Ponting 'Harming' Mumbai Indians?'

The presence of several legends in the Mumbai Indians squad is proving counter-productive, according to NDTV cricket expert Dean Jones. Mumbai Indians crashed to their fifth straight Indian Premier League defeat in Dubai on Wednesday night. Mumbai are the only team not to score a point in the first leg of the tournament in United Arab Emirates.

Mumbai Indians have several luminaries in their team, each one a legend in his own right. While the retired Sachin Tendulkar is the team's icon, Mumbai Indians recently roped in former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting as a consultant. While former New Zealand skipper and Team India coach John Wright is the team's chief coach, South African Jonty Rhodes and former India skipper Anil Kumble are also part of the team management. Such a heavyweight non-playing line-up has not been of great help to the team, feels Jones. (Read more)

Skipper Bailey Cautious After Punjab's Impressive Start

Punjab are sitting on top of IPL table after an all-win record in the UAE leg but skipper George Bailey said his team may have to start from the scratch as they play their first match in India against Mumbai. "Could not have wished for anything better. Great start there (UAE). It is great to have the start we have, but it is almost like starting from scratch again (now) that we are back in India," Bailey said at the pre-match press conference. (Read full story here)

Rohit Optimistic Despite Mumbai's Dismal Start

"We all know it has been a disappointing start. Certain things we did not do right. We took each game at a time and not looked too far ahead. We committed a lot of mistakes right from the first game against Kolkata (Knight Riders) till the last game against Sunrisers (Hyderabad) and kept repeating them," said Rohit ahead of Saturday's game at the Wankhede Stadium.
