"From a team perspective, it was the most complete game of the series. So, it is satisfying. T20 is challenging. Players sometimes want to play for themselves in this format but that did not happen with Australia," the Australian captain said. (Pics)

Bailey also had good words to say about the bowling progress of his young T20 outfit and said that bowlers like James Muirhead and Daniel Christian had improved a lot compared to the past. (Scorecard)

The Aussie captain also admitted that doing well in subcontinental conditions in the upcoming T20 World Cup will be a challenge for his team.

"Our pool in the World Cup is really challenging with most of the tough Asian subcontinent teams," Bailey said.

"We haven't played our strongest T20 sides since the last World Cup. In T20, the rankings don't matter as much as winning the World Cup does," Bailey added.

On being left out from the Australian Test squad for the tour of South Africa, Bailey said that he had a good relationship with the selectors and coach Darren Lehmann and the decision did not hurt him much.

"I have a good relationship with Darren Lehmann and I can't be selected for each tour and each format. So, that's okay with me. South Africa will be a challenge. The wickets there are pretty different." he said.
