Shoaib all set for 100th ODI

When speed sensation Shoaib Akhtar walks into the field at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, the moment will be special for more reasons than one. Not only will he be playing in his home ground, but the match will also mark his 100th appearance in one-day internationals. And the "Rawalpindi Express" is sure to leave no stone unturned to make it a memorable match by reigning in the Indian batsmen. Revenge time "It is an honour to reach a milestone but I will celebrate only if I can help my team win," the 28-year-old speed demon told reporters. India won the cliffhanger at Karachi to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. Pitch to help bowlers But Shoaib expects the track at his home turf to give some assistance to the bowlers after the nightmare at Karachi. "The ball does not come on to the bat easily here as was the case when South Africa played here. There will be more help for the bowlers," said the pace bowler who has scalped 160 wickets in 99 matches at an average of 21.81.
