They delivered a dominating performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore with a huge 47-run win and Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir said it was a result of good team work.
Gambhir himself scored a blistering 93 to be Man-of-the-match but said everyone played a part in team's win.
"Look, it was just one of the days when things go right, the way the pair of Kallis and McCullum batted was simply superb. And then we bowled well as well," Gambhir said.
"If the team batting first can get to 190, it just shows that the wicket was really good. Credit to the entire team the way they played," he said.
Losing skipper Daniel Vettori rued that they dropped Gambhir thrice and that cost them dearly.
"We can always look back at the dropped catches but you also look back at the innings Gambhir played and hats off. We now go home for a week, two vital games coming up and will want to win those two matches," he said.
