New Delhi: Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib-al Hasan has claimed the top-spot in the latest ICC rankings for all-rounders, according to an official release on Monday.
Shakib was the player of the tournament in the recently concluded Asia Cup and his performance against top-sides earned him 27 rating points. He slammed 237 runs which helped him take the 12th position in the list of batsmen. Combined with his six wickets in Asia Cup that placed him eight in the bowlers' list, the 25-year-old toppled Australia's Shane Watson to take the top-spot in the list of all-rounders in ODI.
In the list of batsmen, India skipper MS Dhoni moved up a position to take the fourth spot while Sachin Tendulkar improved to 27 (up by two).
