Wish I had spent more time with Pataudi: Dravid
Batsman Rahul Dravid expressed his condolences on the death of Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi saying that it came as a shock to him even though reports of his ailments had reached him.

Batsman Rahul Dravid expressed his condolences on the death of Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi saying that it came as a shock to him even though reports of his ailments had reached him. (Also see: Pataudi remembered on Twitter)
Dravid had recently met Pataudi at the presentation ceremony of the India-England series. "Wish I had spent more time with him. Even though I had heard of him being not well, this comes as a shock", said Dravid. (Also see: The Tiger in pics)
Pataudi had captained India in 40 Test matches and is widely credited for transforming India's identity as a cricketing nation.
"Pataudi was a personality who influenced Indian cricket in many ways. As a leader, he was someone who changed the way the game was played. He lived with dignity even after retirement.", Dravid added.
Pataudi had died on Thursday after battling respiratory ailments for several days leaving the cricketing world shocked.
