Wellington:
After playing only five Tests in the last year in a schedule calendar dominated by One-Day Internationals, New Zealand faces an extended Test program involving two matches against Australia and Tests against Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and South Africa.
A New Zealand Cricket spokesman said on Monday exact dates and venues had yet to be confirmed, but the schedule will include a two-Test series in Bangladesh, likely in late May, followed by a Test against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe in October or November.
New Zealand will play Australia in Australia in December and host Zimbabwe in January, 2012 before a three-Test series against South Africa in February and March, 2012.
