Mumbai:
The Kochi franchise has not resolved its differences over the ownership and control of the franchise and will not be able to meet the 30-day deadline issued to them. The IPL council on Wednesday approved the decision to tender for a new franchise as soon as the deadline is up on the 27th of November.
The players auctions for the IPL 4 will be held in January 8th and 9th next year. Each franchise can retain a maximum of up to 4 players & will be asked to submit its list of players it would like to retain by 5th December. Remember IPL 4 will begin just days after the ICC cricket World Cup.
