# McIntosh became the eleventh batsman (the first New Zealander) to post a hundred after posting a pair in the previous Test.
# Stephen Fleming was the last New Zealand opener to record a hundred in an away Test - 117 against England at Nottingham in June 2004
# Martin Guptill has recorded his best innings against India.His marvellous 85 is his highest innings on foreign soil and the second best overall, next only to the189 against Bangladesh at Hamilton in February 2010.
# Guptill's fourth Test half-century is his first against India.
# Guptill has an impressive record in 2010, averaging 71.33 - 428 in seven innings (four Tests), including one hundred and three fifties.
# Two new Test centres came into existence on the same day (November 12,2010) - Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium and Dubai International Cricket Stadium.This has happened for the first time.
# Ross Taylor has become the 24th New Zealander to aggregate 2,000 runs in Tests, amassing 2021 at an average of 43.00 in 27 Tests.
