Islamabad:Yawar Saeed has stepped down as manager of the Pakistan cricket team after the scandal-marred tour of England.
The Pakistan Cricket Board says in a statement that Saeed "has requested ... to be relieved of his duties" and the PCB chairman has agreed to his request.
Saeed took over as manager after Pakistan's disastrous tour of Australia earlier this year.
The recent tour of England was overshadowed by allegations of spot fixing by Pakistan players.
The International Cricket Council charged and suspended three Pakistan cricketers after allegations they received money to bowl no-balls at predetermined times.
The ICC is also probing a British tabloid report that a scoring pattern in Pakistan's innings was prearranged during a One-Day International.
