Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara has won the toss and elected to bat first against India in the second Test of the three-match series in Colombo.

India go into this Test without two southpaws, Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir. While Yuvraj is out due to high fever, Gambhir had injured his knee during a practice session on Sunday.

Yuvraj's omission means, Suresh Raina makes his Test debut. Murali Vijay will open the innings with Virender Sehwag.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, make wholesome change in their bowling. Playing without Muttiah Muralitharan and Lasith Malinga, the hosts have brought in Ajantha Mendis, Suraj Randiv, Dammika Prasad and Dilhara Fernando.

India: Virender Sehwag, Murali Vijay, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Abhimanyu Mithun, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha

Sri Lanka: Tillakaratne Dilshan, Tharanga Paranavitana, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Angelo Mathews, Prasanna Jayawardene, Dammika Prasad, Dilhara Fernando, Suraj Randiv, Ajantha Mendis
